Verse 1

Adyghe

Дан итемыр лъэныкъо щегъэжьагъэу къыблэм щыӀэ БэрщэбаӀ нэс, ГъылыӀад чӀыналъэри хэтыжьэу ащыпсэурэ израилхэр зэкӀэ, зы нэбгырэ фэдэу къакӀохи, Зиусхьаным ыпашъхьэ Мыцпэ къыщызэрэугъоигъэх.

English

Then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was gathered together as one man, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, with the land of Gilead, unto the LORD in Mizpeh.

Verse 2

Adyghe

Лъэпкъ псэум, зэкӀэ израил лӀакъохэм япащэхэр Тхьэм илъэпкъ зэхахьэ къэкӀуагъэх. Ахэр уӀэшыгъэ лъэс зэолӀ мин шъиплӀ хъущтыгъэх.

English

And the chief of all the people, even of all the tribes of Israel, presented themselves in the assembly of the people of God, four hundred thousand footmen that drew sword.

Verse 3

А уахътэм бинямин лӀакъом къэбаркӀэ зэхихыгъ, израилхэр Мыцпэ зэрэщызэрэугъоигъэхэр. Арыти, израилхэм лэуим раӀуагъ: – КъытфэӀуатэба, мы бзэджэшӀэгъэшхор сыдэущтэу хъугъа?

English

(Now the children of Benjamin heard that the children of Israel were gone up to Mizpeh.) Then said the children of Israel, Tell us, how was this wickedness?

Арыти, бзылъфыгъэу аукӀыгъэм ишъхьэгъусэ лэуим къафиӀотагъ: – Сэрырэ сишъуз гуадзэрэ тызэгъусэу Бинямин чӀыналъэм ит ГъыбӀэ тыкъызэсым, чэщыр щитхынэу ащ тыкъыщыуцугъ.

English

And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into Gibeah that belongeth to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge.

Verse 5

Adyghe

СаукӀын яхьисапэу чэщым ГъыбӀэ дэсхэр къэзэрэугъойхи, сызэрыс унэр къаухъурэигъ. Ахэр сишъуз гуадзэ ебэнхи, ар лӀагъэ.

English

And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round about upon me by night, and thought to have slain me: and my concubine have they forced, that she is dead.
