Adyghe

Джаущтэу уашъори, чӀыгури, зэкӀэ ахэмэ ащыӀэ пстэури къэгъэшӀыгъэ хъугъэ.

Kabardian

Уафэмрэ щӀылъэмрэ, абыхэм щыӀэ псори ухуа хъуащ.

English

Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

Verse 2

Adyghe

Яблэнэрэ мафэм ехъулӀэу Тхьэм Ӏофэу ышӀэщтыгъэр ригъэкъуи, яблэнэрэ мафэм Ежь зэкӀэ Ӏофэу ышӀагъэмэ ауж гупсэфыгъо уахътэ зыфишӀыжьыгъ.

Kabardian

Ебланэ махуэм ирихьэлӀэу, Тхьэм илэжьа Ӏуэхухэр иригъэкъуащ, ебланэ махуэм гупсэхугъуэ игъуэтащ илэжьа Ӏуэху псоми я ужькӀэ.

English

And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

Тхьэм ынэшӀу щифагъ яблэнэрэ мафэм, мэфэ лъапӀэуи ар ышӀыгъ, сыда пӀомэ а мафэм Ар гупсэфым хэтыгъ: къэгъэшӀын къэгъэхъуным иӀоф Ащ ыухыгъ.

Kabardian

Тхьэм и нэфӀ ебланэ махуэм щыхуэри, махуэ лъапӀэ ар ищӀащ, сыт щхьэкӀэ жыпӀэмэ а махуэм Тхьэм гупсэхугъуэ игъуэтащ илэжьа Ӏуэху псоми я ужькӀэ.

English

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Verse 4

Джары уашъомрэ чӀыгумрэ Зиусхьанэу#2:4 Зиусхьан – Тхьэм изэрэщыт къызэрыпӀон плъэкӀыщт амалхэм ащыщ. Адыгэ гущыӀэу зиусхьаным мэхьанэу иӀэм зэфэмыдэ джурт гущыӀитӀумэ къарыкӀырэр къеты. Апэрэ гущыӀэмкӀэ – Яхуа – Тхьэм ыцӀэ къыраӀо, ащ къикӀырэр: егъашӀэм щыӀэ зэпытыр. – ЯтӀонэрэр – Адонай – Тхьэр зэрэлъэрыхьыр, Ар зэрэфэшӀыгъэр мэхьанэу иӀ. Тхьэм ахэр къызигъэшӀыгъэхэ уахътэм афэгъэхьыгъэ къэбарыр.

Аращ уафэмрэ щӀылъэмрэ я къэхъукӀэ хъуар – Зиусхьэну Тхьэм щӀылъэри уафэри щиухуам щыгъуэ.

English

These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

Verse 5

Зиусхьанэу Тхьэм чӀыгумрэ уашъомрэ къызигъэшӀыгъэхэ уахътэм шъоф куандэ гори, шъоф уци джыри чӀыгум тетыгъэп, сыда пӀомэ Зиусхьанэу Тхьэм джыри чӀыгум ощх къыгъэкӀогъагъэп, чӀыгур алэжьынэу цӀыфхэри щыӀагъэхэп.

ЩӀыгум зы чыци теттэкъым, зы удзи къэкӀатэкъым иджыри, сыту жыпӀэмэ Зиусхьэну Тхьэм тригъэшхатэкъым щӀылъэм уэшх, цӀыхуи щыӀэтэкъым щӀыгум телэжьыхьыну;

English

and every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
