Verse 1

Adyghe

Зиусхьанэу Тхьэр Мосэ къыдэгущыӀэзэ, къыриӀуагъ: «Мары пщылӀмэ яхьылӀэгъэ хэбзэ гъэнэфагъэхэу ахэм япӀощтхэр:

English

Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.

Verse 2

Adyghe

джуртыр пщылӀэу зыпщэфыкӀэ, илъэсихэ Ӏоф ышӀэн фае; яблэнэрэ илъэсым ышъхьэ ымыщэфыжьэу ар шъхьафит шӀыжьыгъэн фае.

English

If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.

Verse 3

Adyghe

Шъхьэзакъоу къэкӀогъагъэмэ, шъхьэзакъоуи дэрэкӀыжь. Ау къыщагъэу щытыгъэмэ, ащ кӀыгъоу ишъхьагъуси дэрэкӀыжь.

English

If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.

Verse 4

Adyghe

Ау изиусхьан къыригъэщагъэу, къохэр е пхъухэр къыфэхъугъэхэу щытмэ, ишъузи исабыйхэри зиусхьаным къыфэрэнэхи, ежь изакъоу дэрэкӀыжь.

English

If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.

Verse 5

Adyghe

Ау пщылӀым теубытагъэ хэлъэу: „Сизиусхьан шӀу сэлъэгъу, сишъузи сисабыйхэри ары, сышъхьафитынэу сыфаеп“ зиӀокӀэ,

English

And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:
