Verse 1

Adyghe

ЯпшӀыкӀутӀонэрэ мазэу, Адар мазэм ияпшӀыкӀущэнэрэ мафэ пачъыхьэм иунашъорэ ыухэбзыгъэмрэ агъэцэкӀэнэу игъо къэсыгъ. А мафэр ары джуртхэм тетыгъо афыряӀэнэу япыйхэр зыгугъэщтыгъэхэр. Ау Ӏофыр шъхьафэу къычӀэкӀыгъ – ежь пыйхэр джуртхэм аӀэ илъ хъугъэх.

Kabardian

ЕпщыкӀутӀанэ мазэм, пащтыхь унафэр щызэщӀэн хуей Адар мазэм, и епщыкӀущанэ махуэр къэсащ. Бийр гугъат а махуэм журтхэр хигъэщӀэну, ауэ зыри зэрыщымыгугъауэ Ӏуэхур къыщӀидзыжри, я бий кӀэуфӀыцӀыр езы журтхэм лъэгуажьэмыщхьэу къагъэтӀысащ.

English

Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king's commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)

Пачъыхьэу Ахъашурэщ ихэку пстэуми арыт къалэхэм джуртхэр ащызэрэугъоигъэх – бзэджагъэ зыгу къафилъыгъэхэм язэонхэу; ахэмэ ащыщ гори джуртхэм къапэуцужьын ылъэкӀынэу щытыгъэп, сыда пӀомэ зэкӀэ цӀыф лъэпкъыхэр джуртхэм ащыщынэхэ хъугъагъэ.

Kabardian

Пащтыхь Ахъийшурэщ и щӀыналъэхэм къалэу итым бзаджагъэ зигу къахуилъхэм езэуэну журтхэр къыщызэхуэсащ. Журтхэм я шынагъэр цӀыху лъэпкъ псоми зэралъэӀэсам къыхэкӀыу къапэщӀэувэжыну зыри тегушхуакъым.

English

the Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them fell upon all people.

Хэку пэпчъ Ӏэшъхьэтетэу иӀэр, сатрапхэр, хэку пэпчъ пщэу иӀэр, пачъыхьэм икъулыкъушӀэхэри джуртхэм къадеӀэщтыгъэх, сыда пӀомэ ахэм Мардохъай щынэгъошхо фашӀыгъагъ.

Kabardian

Мардэхей и шынагъэ зыхащӀам пщыи, хэгъэгу паши, лӀакъуэлӀэши, пащтыхь Ӏуэхузехьи къанэ щымыӀэу журтхэм къуигъэуващ.

English

And all the rulers of the provinces, and the lieutenants, and the deputies, and officers of the king, helped the Jews; because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them.

Verse 4

Adyghe

Пачъыхьэм иунэ Мардохъай щылъэшыгъ, икъэбар хэку пстэуми къащекӀокӀыщтыгъ, ежьыми нахь лъагэу зиӀэты зэпытыщтыгъ.

Kabardian

Мардэхей и пщӀэм нэхъри нэхъ лъагэу сэрейм зыщиубгъурт: кӀуэ пэтми нэхъ лъэщ хъурт, и цӀэри пащтыхьыгъуэм и дэнэ къуапи щыжаӀэрт.

English

For Mordecai was great in the king's house, and his fame went out throughout all the provinces: for this man Mordecai waxed greater and greater.

Verse 5

Джуртхэм япыйхэр чатэкӀэ яохэзэ аукӀыщтыгъэх, лъэпсэкӀод ашӀыхэзэ, зэрэфаехэу яджэгъогъухэм адэзекӀощтыгъэх.

Kabardian

Журтхэм бийр джатэщхьэрыкӀуэ ящӀырт, яукӀырт, лъапсэкӀуэдыр къыхуагъакӀуэрт, жагъуэгъум ирамыщӀи щыӀэтэкъым.

English

Thus the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and slaughter, and destruction, and did what they would unto those that hated them.
