Verse 1

Adyghe

Ащ ыуж пачъыхьэу Ахъашурэщ ипачъыхьагъу хы Ӏушъом нэсэу щыпсэурэ цӀыфмэ хьакъулахь атырилъхьагъ.

Kabardian

Абы иужь пащтыхь Ахъийшурэщ зэрыпащтыхьыгъуэу, хы Ӏуфэм еуалӀэ щӀыпӀэ жыжьэхэри къыхыхьэу, хьэкъулэ ятрилъхьащ.

English

And the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land, and upon the isles of the sea.

Ащ зэкӀэ Ӏофышхо гъэшӀэгъонэу ышӀагъэхэмрэ Мардохъай зэригъэлъэпӀагъэм икъэбархэмрэ Персиемрэ Мадаимрэ япачъыхьэхэм ялъэхъан хъугъэ шӀагъэхэр зыдатхэщтыгъэ тхылъым датхагъэх.

Kabardian

Пащтыхьым игъэхъамрэ батэу игъэшамрэ, Мардэхей зэригъэлъэпӀам и хъыбар нэсри хэту, Къэжэрымрэ Мыдымрэ я пащтыхь тхыдэ тхылъхэм иратхауэ итщ.

English

And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?

Мардохъай джуртыр пачъыхьэу Ахъашурэщ ыужкӀэ хэгъэгум иятӀонэрэ цӀыфэу щытыгъ. Ащ джуртхэм лъытэныгъэшхо фашӀыщтыгъ, илъэпкъэгъухэм лъэшэу шӀу алъэгъущтыгъ. Мардохъай ишӀуагъэ илъэпкъ ригъэкӀыщтыгъ, игущыӀэкӀи шӀу афишӀэщтыгъ.

Пащтыхь Ахъийшурэщ и ужькӀэ журт Мардэхейщ пащтыхьыгъуэм нэхъ фӀэлӀыкӀ зиӀэу исар. КъызэрымыкӀуэу ину ялъытащ ар журтхэм, Ӏулыджышхуи къыхуащӀащ и лъэпкъэгъухэм. Езыри еш имыщӀэу и лъэпкъым и къэкӀуэнум щӀэбэнащ, щӀэчэ имыӀэуи абы и щхьэщыжакӀуэу щытащ.

English

For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
